Margot Robbie’s go-to manicurist, Betina Goldstein, seems to be having a lot of fun curating Barbie-inspired manicures for the star’s seemingly endless red-carpet commitments this awards season. We’ve seen the sheer nude and micro French mani, the cloudy micro French, and – in perhaps Goldstein’s most inspired look to date – illusion “doll” hands, which saw the manicurist match a polish so perfectly to Robbie’s skin tone that her nails virtually disappeared. For the SAG awards on Saturday night, the Robbie X Goldstein manicure partnership delivered yet another winner.

Goldstein turned to vintage Barbie and her signature pink jelly shoes to create a shade that would also match the detail on Margot’s dramatic Schiaparelli dress. To create that distinctive jelly pink hue, she blended a custom Chanel polish mix. Goldstein mixed four drops of Skieuse, one drop each of Diva and Sun Drop, and three drops of Le Top Coat before going over the custom shade with Le Gel Top Coat, so that Margot’s nails took on an almost plastic shine.

The only question now is, what will Oscar night Barbie’s manicure look like?
